About Me

I am a Research Assistant at the Institute for Justice, after completing my undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While at UNC, I studied economics and public policy, working on many data-oriented projects. I originally wanted to become an academic economist, though after realizing that was not for me, I transferred my skills to data and policy.

My work at IJ focuses on civil forfeiture, barbering and cosmetology regulations, and economic freedom.

I am committed to continued education to grow my knowledge base. I will start a Master’s in Data Analytics and Policy at Johns Hopkins University in January. I am actively learning about Generative AI on Coursera. I have previous experiences in healthcare, public policy, and non-profit work, meaning that I have seen a lot of different ways to view the world.
